José María Argoitia Acha is a former Spanish football player, who played as a forward for 12 years in La Liga, all of which he spent at Athletic Bilbao.

He grew up at Baskonia, and was purchased by Athletic Bilbao. He made his debut in Primera División on October 2, 1960 against Sevilla. Argoitia then spent twelve seasons with the Rojiblancos, and played 308 matches (230 of those in the league[1]), winning a Copa del Rey.[2]
He ended his career in 1973 after a last season split between Sestao and Racing Santander.[2]
